Dracosaurs
The Dracosaurs were developed as small, full-body hand puppets that have a basic moving mouth function. They are easy to make and customize, and can be commissioned or bought on-site at one of our convention appearances.
These puppets are made from soft craft foam, and feature our standard 3D printed "plate" mouthpiece. Their bodies are also soft foam and the entire puppet is covered in polar fleece. Eyes are fixed in place, but we are working on mechanisms to open and close their eyelids -- we hope to offer this custom feature in the future. Fingers are lined with wire and poseable.
The idea for the Dracosaurs came from patrons of conventions and renaissance faires who were seeking a "familiar" puppet that could accentuate a costume or act as a singular performance piece.
With their low production cost and highly customizable appearances, Dracosaurs are one of our best-selling puppets!
